flights are no-go at the minute obviously.... This is when being an ex-pat really gets to you. You trade a good life in the sun for emotional neglect (If thats the right word) I never used to bother talking to my family that much when I was in the UK, but now it's bought it home to me how much I should have said. My Dad still has time, and knowing him, he's going to spend it wisely - namely spending time with the family. and finally cracking that Par 3 on the 3rd hole of the local golf course (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I think he'll be happy with that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) --------------------  |

I went for a walk with my wife earlier. There's a lake not far from us that we used to walk round when I first came over here, its dried out a bit since then!

Hehe, unless I took a shovel with me I don't think I'd get far!
Good news about my Dad, He's in fine spirits and has responded well to treatment, the cancer in his gut and liver has shrunk, so they're going to carry on with that. He's also been made Captain of the local Golf Club, and to celebrate has just bought himself a Lexus. I think Him and his wife are planning to tour the UK while they can - or maybe tour the golf courses (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) -------------------- |
