Just finished watching Sharpe's Regiment.

Another good film. And Simmerson's back. I would love to see Sharpe gut that guy. For the life of my I can't remember, so someone please help......does Sharpe or Harper or anyone for that matter kill Simmerson?

I liked Sharpe & Harper "joining the army" to find the missing regiment.
I remember enjoying that in the book and thought the film did it justice.

I think it's one of the better adaptations and sticks fairly close to the book.

I don't think Simmerson ever gets finished off - certainly not in the TV shows, as he's in the latest one - Sharpe's Peril (I think). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Bernard learned his lesson about killing off bad guys too soon when he got rid of Hakeswill. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Simmerson is a good villain that's for sure. He's just such a slimy, lying, coward of a weasel that you just hope Sharpe does to him what he did to Braithwaite.

LMAO just wait until you get to Peril. I won't ruin it for you, but you'll like what happens to him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
