okay I've finally got a few buck to grab this and I've only gotten a few pages in so far but one thing is driving me nuts.
"Caterwauling"
Now with my limited knowledge, being a Yank and all I always thought it meant making a lot of noise, but BC claims it means womanizing. I've never heard it used like that before and its a bit unsettling.
Anyone know?

Growing up, I heard it used both ways, but was far more commonly used to mean making a lot of noise.

Hope you enjoy Copperhead!

Specifically, it seems to mean to make a noise like a cat on heat. I can see that it would only be a short step to make that into womanizing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Finally done. The battle scenes had me a bit bogged down. I think it was because I was trying too hard to see it in my head. Not that I know the area or anything, but I just get that way sometimes.
Well if there was any questions about Lassan's heritage, there certainly isn't any NOW. His father was English with an Irish friend and his first name is Patrick on top of the heavy cavalry sword. Absolutely that is Richard's son.
I really liked how he had me on the edge of my seat a few times, with the chase from the north side to the south side and again with Adam's antics. I can't wait to see what Sally is up to and what if anything Belvedere is doing.
I have a funny feeling that the north found out about Starbuck thru him. It all went down WAY to fast.

Glad you're enjoying the series.
One reason I hope for more Starbuck is to see Nate's revenge Gillespie for the Croton oil.
